The Mature Kalanchoe Grey Ghost Plant is native to Madagascar. A sport of the favorite Copper Spoons, Grey Ghost displays no copper, but a soft, felty grey. It is unique and very rare. It is a tall, shrub-like succulent, but when grown in a container it does not reach the 6 foot that is possible when grown outdoors. It has stems and leaves that are densely covered with short, silvery/grey colored hairs. The leaves fold upwards from the middle. It is slow growing, but can reach 6 feet in height although it typically does not reach its maximum height. It produces small, yellow flowers. Provide sun on the coast to light shade inland. This plant is not cold hardy, so if you live in a zone that gets colder than 32 degrees it is best to plant this succulent in a container that can be brought indoors in the colder months. It does well in full to partial sun.
Â
Plant in an area of your garden that gets 6 hours of sunlight a day. If planting indoors, place in a room that gets a lot of sunlight, such as near a southern-facing window. Water thoroughly when soil is dry. Does best in porous soil. Protect from frost.
Â
You will receive one mature plant from a 6 inch pot, shipped bareroot, meaning out of the pot with most soil removed. It will be carefully wrapped and shipped via USPS Priority Mail with 2-3 days shipping time.

If you are ordering from an area with weather below 32 degrees, please consider purchasing a heat pack
