Hard to find 2+ pounds of Hydroton LECA – Light Expanded Clay Aggregate – Hydroponic or Orchid medium “Clay Balls”.
Expanded clay balls are pellets of inert clay that have been fired to create small marble-sized balls that can be used in hydroponic growing systems and a base for Orchids. These little devils work great for allowing drainage for your plants to minimize mold growth.
They vary in size and work well for 4 – 6 inch pots plus other applications.
Note: Requires an initial wash to rinse clean. Soak for a few hours and stir around before draining.
