Aeonium Black Rose has nearly black foliage and is a beautiful succulent with a large rosette and glossy, fleshy, dark burgundy, and pointed leaves. It has a small, bright, yellow flower that appears in spring as they mature. It is native to Madeira, the Canary Islands, and North Africa.
It thrives in full sun to partial shades and well-drained soil mix. Aeonium Black Rose is a lovely addition to your collection of plants, especially if you have it displayed in a beautiful pot. Like any other succulent plant, they can store water in their leaves and stems, so even when you forget to water them, they can still survive because they are drought tolerant.
They are perfect for rock gardens. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. You can propagate them via cuttings.
You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 9-11.
