Hoya Carnosa Krinkle Wax has thick, crinkle-textured, waxy, rounded leaves with long vines. They produce white/pale pink flowers and star-shaped blooms as they mature and have a delicate fragrance at night. It is native to Eastern Asia and Australia and loves to grow in tropical rainforests.
Growing them is easy and needs a little care once established. You can plant them in a hanging basket and place them on a bookshelf where they can cascade downward their beautiful foliage for additional beauty to your space. Hoyas are perfect for indoor plants as they like a warm and humid environment.
Hoya Carnosa thrives in bright and indirect sunlight and well-drained soil. Allow the soil to dry before watering again, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them during their growing season from spring through fall using a high-potassium water-soluble fertilizer will help boost their growth.
You can propagate them via stem cuttings. You can grow them in USDA Cold Hardiness Zones 10-11.
