Hoya Crimson Princess has waxy leaves, a dark green border, pink, white, and cream in the center, and pinkish-red stems. They produce beautiful, scented flowers as they get mature. Growing this beautiful hoya is easy and doesn’t need much care and attention, unlike any other indoor plants.
You can plant them in a beautiful pot with a trellis and place them in an area where they can get enough sunlight to thrive or in a hanging basket where they can cascade downward their beautiful foliage and showcase their beauty. They are native to the tropical climate of Thailand, India, China, and Indonesia. Hoya Crimson Princess thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and well-drained soil mix.
Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during spring and summer using organic fertilizer will help them boost their growth. Watch out for mealybugs, scale, fungus gnats, and spider mites in your plants.
You can propagate them via stem cuttings.
