Hoya Kerrii has thick, green, succulent leaves, a heart shape, and a vining plant which is called a sweetheart plant. As they mature, they can produce small flowers. Hoya Kerrii is a lovely addition to a beautiful collection of indoor plants.
It is a low maintainance plant, and itβs native to the tropical climate of Southeast Asia. These plants thrive in a high-humidity environment where they can grow in their natural habitat. This tropical plant is easy to grow and easy to care for once established.
It thrives in full sun to partial shades and well-drained soil. You can plant them in a beautiful pot with a DIY trellis or in a hanging basket where they can cascade their beautiful vines for a spectacular visual. Since they are semi-succulent plants, they still need water to grow.
Allow the soil to dry before watering again, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 11a-11b at 40-50 degrees F. You can propagate them via leaf and stem cuttings.
