Philodendron Micans are easy to grow and prefer medium-bright indirect sunlight.  Water once the first 2″ of soil have dried out.  The sun will impact the color of this variety.  More sun will result in maroon colored leaves, while lower light will return the plant back to green.  Using an all purpose fertilizer at a 1/3 strength during the active growing season will keep your plant happy and healthy.  Philodendrons are prone to regular houseplant pests. Make sure to use an organic pest control regimen to prevent infestations.

**During shipping plants will go through somewhat of a shock.  When your plant arrives keep it in the pot for 1-2 days, out of direct sunlight before re-potting.  Plants arriving with yellowing or browning leaves is normal.  Our plants are covered with the “arrive alive” guarantee.  Should your plant be delivered dead, make a claim within 24 hours, including photos and your plant will be replaced at no cost.  We photograph every plant we ship.  We want customers to know that we ship quality, healthy plants.  Any plant reported after 24 hours is final sale, no exceptions.  We ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid instances of dead arrivals.  Please send a message with any other questions

**FALL/WINTER SHIPPING- All buyers are responsible for knowing the weather in their own region.   My plants are grown in Florida where it is hot and humid.  Tropical plants will be shocked should they go into extreme low temperatures during shipping.  To avoid this during Fall/Winter months please use the listing below to add a heat pack to your order.  1 heat pack will last 72 hours.  1 heat pack will warm a maximum of 4 – 4″ or 2 – 6″ plants.  If you are purchasing more than 2 plants or larger plants, please make sure to purchase the equivalent amount of heat packs to accommodate your order.
