Tradescantia zebrina, formerly known as Zebrina pendula, is a species of creeping plant in the Tradescantia genus. This is one of the easiest plants to take care of. Beautiful colors and hardy…it really is amazing! The leaves are bluish green and usually have two longitudinal stripes that are silvery on the surface and purple on the underside. When chronically exposed to long periods of intense sunlight, the variegation fades and the leaf becomes purple throughout. PLANT CARE: Tradescantia plants like to be kept moist but not waterlogged. Water your plant once about half the soil has dried out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. During the summer months, you may need to water your plant more frequently than during the Winter months.
