String of Dolphins (Senecio peregrinus) is a rare succulent that has beautiful dolphin-shape-like leaves and is a trailing vine that can amaze a plant lover. It is native to Southwest Africa, where they thrive in full sun to partial shades. This nice and tinny plant requires a slightly cooler temperature of at least 10 degrees.
This unique and soft succulent is perfect for indoor as a houseplant. You can plant them in a hanging basket and place them in the north-facing window where they can get direct sunlight, or you can place them on bookshelves or a console table where they can showcase their beautiful foliage with a mirror hanging on the wall. When watering them, use the soak and dry methods and allow the soil to dry before watering again, and make sure there is an excellent draining pot to avoid rot.
A string of dolphins is toxic to humans and pets, so make sure to place them in an area where they cannot reach them. You can grow them in USDA Hardiness Zones 9b-11b. You can propagate them via stem cuttings.
